A:
Sender: The
members who list a shipment and needs transportation
services?
Carriers: The member provides transportation services
(Transport companies, independent drivers, moving
professionals.
Private
network: Enables you to create a list of preferred
carriers and list your shipment prior to the public
network.
Public
network: Is the general network of carriers allowing all
carriers to view your goods to move.

use FreightNow?

FreightNow
is a new market place for transport services, using our
high speed portal members can post find and manage
shipments across the network.
We do not
place ourselves between the shipper and carrier. Rather,
we provide an independent environment in which shippers
and carriers can communicate with each other.
Q: How does
FreightNow work?
A:
Senders list
the details of their shipment.
Carriers
finds shipments using our search methods.
Carriers
then view the details of the shipment and can ask sender
additional questions before accepting or declining the
job.
When a
sender accepts an offer the match is complete, and the
sender and driver arrange the final pick-up, delivery,
and payment details.
Q: What fees does FreightNow charge for this service?
A:
Our fee
structure is simple and straightforward.
Senders:
Its free to list and tender jobs big and small.
Carriers:
You pay $10.00 per load allocated to you. SMS alerts 25 cents per. We bill on the 28th Day of every month.
You can arrange a prepaid account if you don't have a credit card the minimum for prepay is $50.00 or 5 loads this is valid for 24 months.
If you can't access a computer and need to phone FreightNow for a load we charge you $25.00 per load.
Q: How do I know that my shipment will be safe?
A:
For your
protection we have developed a feedback ratings system
enabling members to leave feedback on services provided.
We provide thorough information for your assessment of
the member you are dealing with.
FreightNow
is only a venue and is not responsible for transactions
after the match is completed on our system.
Q: What happens if my shipping plans change or the
driver fails to live up to their end of the agreement?
A:
If you need
to change or cancel a shipment and you have not yet
approved a driver, you may change or delete the shipment
on your sending page in My FIT.
Q:
How does the "Saved Search" feature work?
A:
You can be the first to know when new shipments are
listed on the site by checking the “Save this Search”
box on our search results pages. We will email or SMS
you when new shipments are listed that meet the criteria
of the search.
Simply click
on the shipment title in the email and you will go
directly to the shipment listing page. Best of all,
there are no fees for the email service!
Q: What if I do not have access to the internet?
A:
We realise
that not all drivers have access to the internet so
we've developed a SMS Saved search option so you can
always be informed if new jobs that meet your
specification have been posted on the site.
